(nee Campbell) Salamone, 71, of Wallingford, Pa., passed away surrounded by loved ones on November 4, 2020, while watching the election results on MSNBC.Beloved wife of the late Robert S. Salamone, Agnes was a devoted friend known for her generosity, her laugh, her ability to tell a story, her love of Pinot Grigio, and for always being the last at the party.She is survived by her daughter Noël Willette and her sons Sam (Kristin) Salamone, and Matt (Lisa) Salamone and daughter-in-law Diana Salamone.Her life was filled with joy and love and was adored by her grandchildren Chelsea (Andrew), Angeleah , Nicholas, Joe, the late Thomas, Stephen, Christopher , Aubrey, Sammi and Samuel; Loving sister of Peter (Elizabeth) Campbell, James (Rosemary) Campbell, Sister James Agnes, SSJ/Cassie Campbell, William (the late Faith) Campbell, the late John (Colleen) Campbell, Patrick (Joan) Campbell, Michael (Carol) Campbell; brother-in-law John Salamone; many nieces, nephews and cousins.In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by her cherished grandson Thomas Salamone, son Robert Salamone, son-in-law Erik Willette, brother John Campbell, sisters-in-law Helen Campbell and Faith Campbell, and her parents James and Agnes (Deal) Campbell.Her love language was acts of service. She was a fabulous cook and always remembered everyone’s favorites. Agnes loved sports, especially her Philly teams,Notre Dame, Villanova and Duke. March Madness was her favorite holiday. Born and raised in Philadelphia’s St. Edmond’s Parish, Agnes was a proud graduate of Saint Maria Goretti High School. After living in Royersford and Phoenixville, Agnes and Sal spent fifteen years in Rouses Point, NY. She and Sal moved to Oxford, PA, to be closer to family.
