Alice D. Malloy

Alice D. Malloy (nee Smiley) Of Marcus Hook formerly of Chester. Alice D. Malloy (nee Smiley), 55, died peacefully on Wednesday, July 18, 2012 at Crozer Chester Medical Center from her long standing battle with cancer. Alice was born in Wilmington, DE and educated in Chester Upland School District. Alice had many jobs from roofing and pottery to cooking at Clanks Bar. Alice was a very devoted homemaker and friend. She will always be remembered as a loving mother and grandmother. She was predeceased by her mother-in-law Sara E. Malloy, 2 sisters and 2 brothers. She is survived by her beloved husband of 38 years Thomas Malloy III, her daughter Darlene Grace Malloy of Marcus Hook, her son Thomas Malloy IV (Amber) of Warrensburg, MO, 5 grandchildren, 4 sisters, 1 brother, her god daughters Layla Ann Johnson and Valia C. Johnson (who was also her caregiver), a step-daughter Stacey L. Taylor of Linwood and a host of extended children, nieces and nephews. Relatives and friends are invited to her Viewing Tue. 10-10:45 A.M. followed by her Funeral Service 11 A.M. at the D’ANJOLELL-STIGALE MEMORIAL HOME, 3260 Concord Road Aston. Interment Private. In lieu of flowers contributions in Alice’s memory to Crozer Regional Cancer Center c/o Crozer Foundation Office 1 Medical Center Blvd. Upland, PA 19013 would be appreciated.
