I knew Anna through Italian classes at Neumann. She was so knowledgeable but she taught the lessons from her heart too.

Anna was a beautiful person inside and out . She had the unique quality of touching someone and you felt as if you've known her your entire life.
The world has lost a wonderful person and heaven has gained an angel.

Nick, I am so sorry to hear of your loss. I don't think I ever met your wife, but she looks like a lovely lady and I'm sure the woman behind the man. Unfortunately, I will be in New York on company business on Wednesday & Thursday this week. Please accept my sincere condolences and if I or the borough of Brookhaven can be of any assistance in this your time of need please let me know. You and the family will be in our prayers.

Carissimo Nicola,

Dear Nick, Danielle, Nicholas and Family,

Meeting Anna was one of the best things that ever happened to me. Her warmth, gentle demeanor and loving words have nurtured me since I came to Pennsylvania. We both came from the same region of Italy, making us very close and like minded. Anna was like an older sister to me, always available to give me advice and encouragement to follow in her footsteps in teaching Italian. She was an inspiration in my life and she will always have a special place in my heart!
My husband Chris and daughters Stella and Aurora join me in expressing our deepest sympathy for such a big loss. We will always keep Anna in our prayers.

Our heartfelt condolences go out to the Rapagnani family on the loss of your loved one Anna. She was a beautiful person. We will miss her smile, her gracious manner, and her generosity. And her message to us at the end of every email, "A hundred years from now it will not matter what my bank account was, the sort of house I lived in, or the kind of car I drove . . . . but the world may be different because I was important in the life of a child." Rest in Peace Anna, you will be missed by many.

Nick and family,

We did not have the pleasure of knowing Anna for a long time but we came to know in a very short time what a warm and caring person she was. There are many whose lives have been enriched through Anna's efforts and certainly the community where Anna shared her passion for the Italian culture. She will be missed. Our thoughts and prayers remain with each of you.
