Dr. Annie B. Cinco M.D.

Dr. Annie B. Cinco, 86, passed away peacefully on December 8, 2025, in Paoli, Pennsylvania. A devoted Catholic and beloved pediatrician, she leaves behind a legacy of compassion, intellect, and unwavering dedication to both her profession and her family.

Born on June 21, 1939, in the Philippines, Annie pursued her early education with determination and excellence. She studied for one year at the University of the Philippines before continuing her academic journey at the University of the East. There, she earned both her Bachelor of Science degree and her Doctor of Medicine degree—an achievement that marked the beginning of a lifelong commitment to healing and service.

Annie dedicated over three decades of her career to pediatric emergency medicine at King’s County State Hospital in New York. Her work touched countless lives, offering care and comfort to children and families during their most vulnerable moments. Her colleagues respected her for her clinical expertise and tireless work ethic; those she treated remembered her for her warmth and gentle manner.

Outside of medicine, Annie embraced life with curiosity and joy. She had an insatiable passion for travel and delighted in exploring cultures around the world. Whether wandering through historic cities or sampling new cuisines, she found inspiration in every corner of the globe. Her love for learning extended beyond travel—she was a voracious reader who kept herself informed about health and wellness as well as current events in the Philippines and across the world.

Annie was deeply proud of her Filipino heritage and often shared stories from her childhood with affection and humor. She had a sharp mind paired with a great sense of humor that made her a captivating storyteller and cherished conversationalist. Her kindness, generosity, and deep love for those close to her defined who she was.

She shared a close bond with her family throughout her life. She is lovingly remembered by her siblings Victorio Cinco and Liduvina C. Arayata; sister-in-law Flocerfina Cinco; nephews Neil (and his wife Kim), David (and his wife Noelle), Randy (and his wife Delfina) and Ferdie; nieces Melissa and Jeng (and her husband Robert); as well as many extended family members and friends whose lives were enriched by knowing her. She was preceded in death by her brother-in-law Felixberto Arayata, her parents Rosario Bisquera and Atilano Cinco and brother Atilano, Jr., and sister, Herlinda Castillo.

Annie’s faith was central to who she was. A devoted Catholic all her life, she maintained a close connection with God that guided both her personal life and professional calling.

Her absence will be deeply felt by all who knew her—family members who cherished her wisdom and warmth; friends who enjoyed long conversations filled with laughter; colleagues who admired her dedication; and patients whose lives were made better by her care.

May Dr. Annie Cinco’s memory bring comfort to those who knew and loved her—and may her legacy continue to inspire generations to come. A funeral service will be held on December 19, 2025 at St. Anastasia Church, 3301 West Chester Pike, Newtown Square, PA 19073, with a viewing at 09:30 AM followed by funeral mass at 10:30 AM. Interment will be at Saints Peter and Paul Cemetery, 1600 S. Sproul Road, Springfield, PA 19064.
