MEYERS

Barbara Louise, (nee Parsons) age 93, on August 16, 2022, of Broomall, PA formerly of Trevorton, PA.

Barbara met Jack in Hairdressing School in Philadelphia, and they married in 1948. They were happily married for 65 years. They had beauty shops in Havertown and Overbrook Park, and loved telling stories of their days working together at the shops. Barbara volunteered and did ministry in local nursing homes for over 40 years. She constantly gave of herself and shared God’s love
wherever she went. Barbara was loved by everyone who knew her.

Predeceased by her husband Jack Meyers, her sons Lawrence and Joel, her brother Gary Parsons and her sister Grace Siddle.

Survived by her daughters: Pam Yerkes (Dennis) and Lisa Halladay (Nathan), along with 11 grandchildren: Cori (Danny), Christy, Sarah (Mike), Joseph (Amy), Josh (Heather), Daniel, Matthew, Jason, Jake, Ben and Rebekah,11 great-grandchildren, her brothers Jim, David, and Perry and many loving nieces and nephews.

Relatives & friends are invited to her Viewing Monday, August 22nd 5:00 PM – 7:00 PM, and Tuesday, August 23rd 10:00 AM – 10:45 AM followed by her Funeral Service 11:00 AM in the Main Chapel at D’Anjolell Memorial Home of Broomall, PA 19008. Interment Media Cemetery.
