As you walked the stairway to Heaven, we shared our thoughts and memories of you, Mother! You are my Bridge over Troubled Waters until we meet again. Thank you for setting an example for me to be a good and productive person on Earth. Although it took eighteen years to process I dedicated my life to public service and putting the needs of others before self. The attributes I developed to touch the hearts of those in need came from the examples you and Dad instilled in our Family! My thanks to Eddie and Claire for your celebration of life words cannot express my gratitude to them for the love and care they provided you! Nick and Mary Fran thanks for your unwavering love and decoration to Mom! Brenda and the rest of my wonderful family will always treasure the memories you gave us!

To the Barone family, my condolences on the loss of Carmela. I have so many fond memories of the Barones - photos of Mary holding me as a baby, Nick cutting my hair for years, and then Carmela, from either the hair salon or I do recall him cutting hair from the house. When I pass the old house, I always sent a prayer up to Nick and I will include Carmela now. May your memories bring you solace during this time, but know she is reunited with Nick and you have a new angel watching over you.

On behalf of my wife Charlene, son Miles and the entire Lutz Family we offer our heartfelt condolences to the entire Barone Family at this sad and difficult time. Carm’s obituary was a vivid depiction of a wonderful woman. A memory of her outstanding cooking is forever etched in my mind! The vigil meal on Christmas Eve was a feast fit for a king. And how can I forget Big Nicky calling her name just for the sake of calling her name as she cooked out in the kitchen with Grandmom Angiollillo and Marie!! I can still hear him now. “Carm, Carm, Carm, Carmellllllla”! Carmela would plead with him to please leave her alone!!!! You had to be there. And I was. For many times. Carmela, Big Nick and the entire Barone Family treated me like a king. I’ll never ever forget that. I love you all. P.S. I can just hear Big Nick now yelling out to Carm in heaven’s kitchen. “Carm, Carm, Carm, Carmellllla”!

I am so deeply sorry to hear of Carmela's passing. She was so sweet to everyone. Such a legend - my grandparents (Connie & Fred) adored Carmela and they passed those feelings unto their grandchildren. I am sure Carmela's family and friends will miss her tremendously, but through grace will carry her legend within their own lives. Our deepest sympathies, always, Karen, Chris, Antonia & Isabella

One of the best things about growing up on 14th street was we were all family. Even though the Barone's lied along Main Street/Lansdowne Avenue, it was just a driveway away from our house. Carmella was another mother to many of us. Love you always
