Concetta Rita “Connie” Pace (nee Foglio) went to heaven peacefully on December 12, 2024, surrounded by her loving family. Connie was born and raised in Southwest Philadelphia to the late Vincenzo and Anna Foglio and was the youngest of 17 children. She loved spending time with her large family. She was extremely devoted to her faith and lived her life by the example of Jesus and The Blessed Mother. She was a wonderful, supportive wife and was completely devoted to and unconditionally supportive of her children.

She was the wife of the late Giovanni “John” Pace, mother of the late Anna Atchick (Andrew). Pietro Pace (Maria) and Ornella Vega (Carlo). She was an adoring Grandmom to Gemma Cambria (Antonio), Annalisa Atchick, Giancarlo Vega, Isabella Atchick and Italia Vega. Sister of Madeline D’Angelo of Boca Raton, Fl. and predeceased by her brothers and sisters. She was a loving aunt and cousin to many.

Relatives and friends are invited to her visitation on Thursday, December 19, 2024, at 9 – 9:45 am at Stella Maris Church, 2901 S. 10th Street, Philadelphia, PA 19148, with a Funeral Mass following at 10 am. A burial will follow at Holy Cross Cemetery.

Pietro and Maria I am so sorry for your loss. We have such fond memories of Your Mom, Connie. She was the best! Every time I spoke to her she always asked about our daughter, Nicole She never forgot. She was the sweetest lady. We visited her a few times at the nursing facility and she was always so pleasant and sweet. May she rest in peace. God Bless Her!❤️

I am sad to hear about Mrs. Pace’s passing. She was such a special person, always warm and kind. When she covered for teachers in class, she made me feel like her favorite, and that meant the world to me. It’s been four decades, and I’ve never forgotten her or the way she made me feel. She had this amazing way of making people feel seen and cared for. My heartfelt condolences to her family she truly left a mark on everyone she met
