Daniel Harry Thompson, of Wilmington De, passed away peacefully on July 29, 2025, surrounded by his loving family.

Daniel worked as a design project manager in landscaping.

He enjoyed golfing, fishing, football and other sports.

Son of the late William Thompson, Sr.

Devoted father of Daniel P. and wife, Anna Thompson, Mikayla Thompson. Loving son of Carole, and husband, George Campise, cherished brother of Christine Thompson, and husband, Douglas King, William Jr. , and wife, Linda Thompson. Also survived by his nieces & nephews.

Relatives & Friends are invited to his service on August 16, 2025, 4 pm at Chichester United Wesleyan Church 5151 Chichester Ave, Upper Chichester. Interment will be private.

Daniel will be remembered for his big heart and love he showed to his family and friends. He had an incredible love for animals, always going out of his way to care for them and treat them with kindness. His presence brought comfort and the impact he made will never be forgotten.

So sad to hear the news of Danny’s passing. I had the pleasure of working and doing business with Dan for many years. My sincere condolences to his family.

I had the pleasure of knowing uncle Danny by marring into the family. He truly had a warm and happy heart! The moment he entered the room his voice would carry with joy and excitement. He loved all the yummy food we made and made every effort to spend holidays with us. We will miss you greatly. Rest in peace uncle Danny.
