David W. Mahon Sr.

David W. Mahon, Sr., of Overbrook, PA, formerly of Iowa and Rock Island Ill., died on Jan. 18, 2005.
He was predeceased by his wife, Angelina nee Pizzotti, his wife, Julia Cappozzi nee Muraglia, his dear friend, Elvira Colotto and his brother, Paul Mahon. He is survived by his sons, David Mahon Jr. Susan and Robert T. Mahon Donna, his sister, Ella Tullberg, 7 grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.

David was a veteran who served two tours in the United States Navy from 1940-1946 and 1950-1952. He moved to the Philadelphia area in 1955 and taught Auto Mechanics at the Spring Garden Institute. He also worked for Philco-Ford and retired from Pennco Tech in 1987. He was an active member of the NRA and the American Legion Post 214 in Upper Darby, and volunteered his time serving meals on wheels from the Upper Darby Multicenter.
