BertoliniDominic J. Bertolini, age 95, died peacefully at his home on 5/25/2021 He was a proud WW 2 veteran who served in the 90th Infantry of the 3rd Army.Dom was an outdoorsman who enjoyed hunting, fishing, and gardening. He was an avid winemaker who enjoyed gifting his special brews. His favorite gift was his homemade Barolo wine. He loved family gatherings where he shared good food and wine. He was a great chef who enjoyed roasting meat on his BBQ.Dom was a loyal Flyers and Phillies fan. He was a jack of all trades who built sheds, patios, tree houses, and the entire second floor of his home. He could fix or repair almost anything, including plumbing.Dom was a man of faith who loved the Lord. He was active in his parish having served as a Eucharist Minister at Saint Gabriel of the Sorrowful Mother for 27 years. Dom valued hard work. His great work ethic kept him employed until the age of 91. He was a tradesman and worked in printing as a journeyman typographer until his retirement. He had a long career at Pennland Printing Company and the Wilmington News Journal. After his retirement he had a lengthy career working at the Giant Food Market in Kennett Square where he again was often a jack of all trades, including being Santa at Christmas time. Dom was a loving husband, father, grandfather, and great-grandfather. He loved his family and he will be missed. We were blest to have him as our role model.Predeceased by his dear wife Theresa (nee Damato) Bertolini .Survived by his loving wife Ninetta (nee DiMario) Bertolini his cherished children Rosemary Polomski (Joseph), Donna Ramage (Russell), Stephen J. Bertolini and his cherished stepchildren William Gonnelli (Julie) and Rosemary Smith (Ron). Relatives and Friends are invited to his Visitation on Tuesday, June 1, 2021 10:00AM-10:45AM with Funeral Mass to follow 11:00AM (ALL IN CHURCH) St. Gabriel of the Sorrowful Church 8910 Gap Newport Pike, Avondale, PA.
