Dear Jean,We are so sorry. Were really gonna miss Eddy. Fred & Joyce Beach
Heartfelt Condolences to Jean & her family during this most difficult time. May God comfort you. From you Darby Township classmates. Love you
I will miss calling to shop and hearing him say.....Hey kid! Drop it off we will take care of you! He was so kind to my children and gave them matchbox kids when they were younger. I loved to watch 3 generations at the shop! He personified kindness!!!! May his memory be a blessing!
I knew "Eddie" from our days when our families lived on Westbury Drive in Overbrook Park. I recently came across an old black and white photo of us gathered on one of the well-manicured lawns of the row houses where we lived during the endless summers of the late sixties-early seventies.
My condolences to his family, and may his memory be a blessing.
To Jean, my lifelong friend and your beautiful family, Michelle, Steve, Gabrielle and Michael. I share heartfelt sympathy for the loss of your husband, father and Pop Pop. Ed cherished his family and was a wonderful friend who opened his home and his heart to everyone he loved. I will miss Ed's friendship dearly. His legacy of love and kindness will forever live on in my heart ❤️
Peace of mind is a call away. We’re here when you need us most.
You lived every day to the fullest, enjoying everything that you did, whether it was work or play. You surrounded yourself with family and friends, always happy to enjoy each moment with others. You lended a hand to help before being asked. Though you are no longer here, your legacy of love and kindness will forever live in our hearts
I've not met Mr. Herkovitz but have certainly viewed his social life via Facebook on Jean's page. I went to school with Jean and have loved her from the day I met her. From all the beautiful vacation photos of the shore with his family I believe he was a great husband, father and Pop-pop. Jean do know that I am praying for you and yours. Should you need to talk I am available to listen. Fondly, Wanda Hammond Peoples.
New Eddie for over 30 years, best dam auto advisor in the area. He was always great for my mental health when i called him throughout the years!!! Will miss him.

May God bless your father Edward and may God help you and your family in your time of sorrow.

I would like to extend my deepest condolences , I didn’t know Eddie very long but he was always nice to me and very helpful. I am truly saddened by his passing.May God comfort this family during this difficult time
Jean & Family,
We are so sorry for your loss. Ed was a such a great guy and family man who always took the time to stop by our deck at the Nor'easter and ask about how things were going. During his many years of service on the condo board, he worked hard for his friends and residents of the Nor'easter, making it a better place for all to live and enjoy. We'll miss the warm smile and witty conversation of our upstairs neighbor.
The most honest guy in the auto repair business! In a world where people try to sell you what you don’t need, Eddie was the guy to shoot his Customers straight and only repair what was needed. A true gem. He will be greatly missed.
"The only way to do great work is to love what you do" Not everyone is blessed enough to do that. Eddie did it with such grace.strength and respect .
Peace of mind is a call away. We’re here when you need us most.
Our deepest condolences to Jean, Michelle, Steve, Gabrielle, and Michael. May you find peace with the love he had for his family. My husband, Eric, will miss working with him, his jokes, and his guidance. Eric said he was a phenomenal boss, and friend, and mentor. Eddie always had a smile when I saw him, and just was a kind hearted man. He will never be forgotten, he will always be in our hearts.
Will miss seeing Ed around the pool this summer. My thoughts & prayers to his family.
GOD BLESS US ALL.. RIP OLD FRIEND EDDIE Unbelievable, way to young .. !!
Jean, Michelle, Steven, Gabrielle and Michael,
Our thoughts and prayers are with you. Ed was a wonderful man. My memories of going fishing with him, to the Dover races and aunt Pat’s trips with him to the casino will always be with me. I hope you find peace and comfort in knowing that his passing is felt by all who knew and loved him. He will be greatly missed!!!
Love,
Uncle Joe and Aunt Pat
