Due to the current situation we as a family have made a very hard but realistic decision not to hold an open service for George & Dolores at this time. This is being done to protect all of those who loved and cared for them. Our plan is to have a celebration of life when the restrictions are lifted. Bosler (nee Huston), 90, of Swarthmore, PA, formerly of Philadelphia, PA, passed away on the afternoon of Friday, April 24, 2020. They were married for 66 years.George BoslerBorn in Philadelphia, George was the son of the late John and Mary (McKeon) Bosler.He was a member of Notre Dame de Lourdes Church, Swarthmore, PA.George was WWII Veteran who served in the U.S. Navy.Prior to retiring in 1988, George was employed by PECo/Exelon as a Storekeeper for over 40 years.Preceding him in death were his brother John Bosler and twin brother Albert Bosler.Dolores Bosler (nee Huston)Born in Philadelphia, Dolores was the daughter of the late James and Leona (Shingle) Huston.She was also a member of Notre Dame de Lourdes Church, Swarthmore, PA.Dolores was a homemaker/housewife since her marriage in 1953.Preceding her in death was her sister Anna Maller Surviving, are sons Robert Bosler and his wife Rosemary (Pellock) of Chadds Ford, PA and James Bosler and his wife Jaqueline (Regnier) of West Chester, PA; grandchildren Stephen Bosler and Jackson Bosler; step-grandchildren Jason and Jessica Samuels; Dolores’ brother, James Huston , sisters, Helen Bosler, Margaret Woods, Kathleen Corney; Patricia Lapteff and many nieces and nephews.Funeral and Inurnment are private.In lieu of flowers contributions in George and Dolores’s name can be made to : https://delcofoundation.org/delaware-county-covid-19-response-fund/
