George Louis DiDaniels, Jr., of Wallingford, PA passed peacefully on May 3rd, 2026 at the age of 73. George was born on November 7th, 1952 to George and Theresa DiDaniels on 49th Street in Philadelphia, PA.
George was passionate about many things in his life including his career, Philadelphia sports, and above all else, his children. His love of sports was formed growing up in Swarthmorewood playing football with his classmates from Notre Dame de Lourdes. He continued his athletic and academic pursuits at Cardinal O’Hara while working at the local hoagie shop and hardware store. After graduating from O’Hara (‘70), he attended St. Joseph’s University (‘74) and then worked alongside his father as a Supervisor at Conrail before starting his own transportation logistics business.
He met Elizabeth DiDaniels (Driadon) growing up in Swarthmorewood and together they raised three wonderful children in Chester Heights, PA who now carry forward his legacy – George Louis DiDaniels, III (Makenzie) of Lexington, KY, Jeffrey Stan DiDaniels (Jonelle) and Jaclyn Elizabeth DiDaniels of the Philadelphia, PA.
Over the past 20 years, George enjoyed his retirement reading, going to Avalon on family vacations and spending time enjoying good food / drink with his longtime partner and best friend, Pamela DiJulio. In his final months, George was blessed to spend quality time with his first grandson and his greatest joy – George Louis DiDaniels, IV.
In addition to his immediate family, George is survived by his brother Michael DiDaniels, sister Lori Kane (John) and many loving nieces, nephews and friends.
The family invites you to remember George in your prayers as they hold a private Catholic service and burial. In lieu of flowers, contributions in George’s name may be made to the Riddle Hospital Cancer Center via the Riddle HealthCare Foundation.
