HeatherbyHarry E. Heatherby, Jr. age 68 of Norristown, PA., passed on August 8, 2019.Beloved husband of Eileen (Cybulski) Heatherby; devoted father of Joshua (Maryanne) and Julie-Kay Jost (Ryan); adoring Pop-Pop to Logan, Haylie, Abby and Natalie. Cherished brother of Fred (Jean) Heatherby. Brother of the late Marilyn Durrall and son the late Harry Sr. and Catherine (Rowlands) Heatherby.Harry enjoyed life to the fullest. A graduate from Yeadon High School, class of 1969, Harry pursued a passion for meteorology at Utah State University before finding his calling as a financial consultant. Over an accomplished career of more than 46 years, Harry worked at PSFS, Malvern Federal and eventually found a second home at DLL for the last 12 years of his life. He was a Master Mason in the local Fernwood Lodge # 543. Harry loved sports and participated as a coach at Yeadon boys club. Ran motor rallies with his yellow dodge charger, bowled in the Yeadon Presbyterian league, and was a competitor in golf amongst many friends including mini golf with his family. Once his kids joined swimming, Harry dedicated himself to be a stroke and turn starting official for the Norristown Area Aquatic Club (NAAC) for 13 years, including 2 years as Co-President. Harry was a drummer in a band for many years and enjoyed listening to all rock music. He especially enjoyed The Rolling Stones, The Who, and Elvis Presley. Harry also was a lifelong Philadelphia sports fan and in his lifetime was able to witness a championship in every professional sport. The most recent was his beloved Eagles. Later in life Harry lived for his family and spent many vacations in Disney World and relaxing on the beaches of Wildwood and Hilton Head island, enjoying the sunrises and sunsets, moon lit walks, and teaching his grand kids how to body surf and boogie board. Relatives and friends are invited to his Visitation on Tuesday, August 13th, 10AM-11:45AM with a Funeral Service to follow at 12 Noon at the Moore-Snear and Ruggiero Funeral Home, 19 E. Germantown Pike, East Norriton, PA 19401.In lieu of flowers, contributions in his name may be made to the American Heart Association, 625 W. Ridge Pike, Conshohocken, PA 19425 or the ASPCA 19 E.
