Henry F.W., age 93, on July 20, 2024, of Newtown Square, PA (formerly Upper Darby, PA). Predeceased by his wife, Mary Elizabeth (nee Delaney), his parents, and his siblings.

Survived by his children, John Teti (Isabel), Michael Teti (Kay), Mary Grace Barbye (Rick), Annetta Donahue (Michael), Connie McMenamin (Joe), Lisa Anne Swartz, Diane Neuman (Scott), Patricia Dahms (Bill), Christina Beck (Michael), and Paul Teti (Carrie). Also survived by 29 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.

Henry loved his church, his country, and most importantly his family. In addition to his children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren, he touched so many lives and helped so many people. He served his country in the Korean War. He served his church and community in too many capacities to list. He ran local, congressional and presidential campaigns and always volunteered at the polls.

He wanted nothing more than to be surrounded by family and, being Italian, that also meant our door was always open to our friends, their friends and their family too! He thrived in big gatherings! The more the merrier. He was a legend and opened his heart and our home (and my mother’s cooking) to everyone and anyone who needed him. He was a fixer. Everyone in our community knew they could call Hank Teti, day or night, and he’d be there for them.

Henry was larger than life. His love for others was boundless. No one forgot who he was and everyone loved him. He was a man who carried the weight of his generation with confidence and graciousness. His shine will live on in the lives of all those he touched.

Relatives and friends are invited to the viewing on Friday evening 6 to 9 p.m. at the D’Anjolell Memorial Home 2811 West Chester Pike, Broomall, PA 19008 and Saturday morning all in church 9:30 – 10:45 a.m. at St. Laurence Church, 8245 West Chester Pike, Upper Darby, PA 19082 followed by funeral mass at 11.a.m.

To all the Teti family, I was so saddened to hear of Mr. Teti's passing. He will be forever forged in my mind as my father's best friend. The kindness your family showed to my father as a young man left an undeniable impact on all of our lives. Please know that you are in our thoughts and prayers during this difficult time. Also know that we share this loss with you. My father truly loved Hank like a brother. I am so sorry we were not able to be there for the service. I will ask Joe to say a special mass for him and all the Teti family at the Vatican.

Dear Annetta and Family So sorry for the loss of your Dad I have fond memories of your Mom and Dad growing up in Upper Darby and hanging at your house..will keep you and your family in my prayers.

I’m so very sorry for the loss of Hank. He was a wonderful person. He was friends with my Grandpop through Saint Laurence and Saint Vincent DePaul. He recruited my husband and myself to join SVdP after my Grandpop passed away. He knew everyone and everyone knew him. I am so sorry that we won’t be able to attend the funeral. Hank loved talking about his family and we would have loved to meet more of you. We spent many hours chatting around the kitchen table (and sometimes Dunkin Donuts). Hank and Mary made us feel like family and we have fond memories of them.

Peace of mind is a call away. We’re here when you need us most.

Hank was a pillar of strength in our community. He gave his time and talents to make our community a better place. It was a privilege to know him.

I had the pleasure of knowing Hank from his very Often visits to my Flower Shop He loved his wife so much, would buy flowers to brighten her day for no other reason than to express his love and devotion to Her. What a nice gentleman, I always loved our conversations, he was always asking how my children were , how was business, He really cared. He was one of the nicest people I have ever had the pleasure to meet

Mr.Teti was a man of his community. His love for St. Laurence and its parishioners developed concepts and passion that made our parish better. His passion to help others touched our family and the Nelson family. Mr. Teti’s memory will be our guide for service to St. Laurence.

Mike, Paul and the Teti family, condolences to you as you grieve the loss of Hank. I worked with Hank years ago and he was always quick with a joke and lit up the room whenever he came in.
