Irene Weitzman

Irene Weitzman of Broomall Pa passed away on the night of February 12 2023 at the age of 79. She now joins her husband Stephen, whom she was married to for 50 years, who passed away in July 2021. She and Stephen lived in their cherished Broomall home where they raised two sons Martin and Brian with an assortment of family pets through the years.

Irene was a tireless mother and caretaker of her family who worked many years part time supporting children in the local school system cafeterias. She was known for her always positive attitude and her many “white lies” to keep order and everyone around her happy.

Irene was a native of Philadelphia and is survived by one sister Etty who now lives in Florida. She was the beloved grandmother of four grandchildren, Jason and Jocelyn, children of Martin and Dina of Newtown Sq. Pa, and Jacob and Victoria, children of Brian and Michelle of Moneta, Va
