DUCA
Isabelle Marie (Thompson), age 86, on October 14th, 2024, of Havertown, PA.
Isabelle was the best of the best when it came to the love of her family and friends. Her heart was big enough to wrap around anyone who needed help, support, love or just an ear to listen. And that love of life and joy helped her battle cancer for the past 22 years. She was raised in Wildwood, NJ and always, always had an overwhelming attachment to the shore and the sea and her large, loving extended family. She enjoyed cooking, baking, playing cards, entertaining, celebrating Sunday dinners and spending time with her friends.
Volunteering at Sacred Heart Church became a huge part of her life and she was proud to be an integral part of the H.O.P.E. program (Helping Other People in Emergencies) and any other needs in the parish. But, like her husband, her biggest joy was found in the company of her children and grandchildren.
She is predeceased by her husband, Philip J. Duca, Jr. who was the love of her life for 67 years, who passed away just 6 weeks ago, her wonderful sister, Dolores Trombetta (Vince) and her daughter in law Cheryl Marie.
She is survived by her 4 children, Philip J Duca, lll (Adriane), Jacqueline Fallon (Patrick), Maria Boyd (Carl), and Christopher Duca, her 10 grandchildren, her 5 great-grandchildren, her grandchildren’s spouses, her brother Bill Thompson (Lois), her wonderful sister in laws and brother in laws and countless cousins, nieces, and nephews. All of whom she loved fiercely and so very dearly.
Relatives and friends are invited to join her family at Sacred Heart Church in Havertown, PA for visitation on Saturday, October 26th from 9:00 AM-10:45 AM followed by her funeral Mass at 11 AM. Interment will be private.
