Brennan1938~2020Due to the current situation we as a family have made a very hard but realistic decision not to hold an open service for (Jeff) at this time. This is being done to protect all of those who loved and cared for him. Our plan is to have a celebration of life when the restrictions are lifted. We will be planning on a memorial and celebration later. Thank you for understanding.James “Jeff” Brennan passed away on Tues., April 28th 2020.Jeff was the beloved husband of 39 years to his late wife, Judy Brennan. Jeff is survived by his 4 children, Michael J. Brennan, Mary Catherine Hill, Timothy P. Brennan, and Heather Miller, and 11 Grandchildren and, 3 Great Grandchildren. He is survived by his sister Mary Patricia Sullivan and predeceased by his brother William B. Brennan Jr. and their parents, William B. Brennan and Marie Brennan. Jeff and Judy started their family in Texas, but moved to Newark, DE in 1971. Shortly after Jeff’s retirement from Dupont after 30 years as a Systems Analyst, they moved to The Villages, FL in 1999.Jeff loved to play golf and was very good at it. If he wasn’t playing golf, he was watching it on TV. Jeff and Judy were parishioners of the Resurrection Parish in Pike Creek for 49 years and spent many hours with their church family and servicing their community. Besides socializing with friends, they loved to honor their Irish Heritage by singing Irish Jigs and adored spending time with their Grandchildren and attending their activities and sporting events. Jeff’s sense of humor always shined through in every situation. He loved attending shows, had a deep appreciation of music, and the Philadelphia Phillies, Eagles and Sixers, and was an avid reader. He was born in Long Island, NY and moved to College Park MD when he was young. Jeff graduated from Holy Cross College in 1960. He served in the Army from 1962-1964 and in the Reserves until 1967.
