James “Jimmy” Samuel Ladislaw, 73 of Ridley Park, PA passed away peacefully on January 26, 2026, at the Coatesville VA Hospital.
Born in Philadelphia, Jimmy was the son of the late James Ladislaw and Gladys (nee McKissick) Ladislaw. Jimmy attended Ridley High School before joining the United States Marine Corps in March of 1971; while serving he earned the National Defense Service Medal, his Rifle Marksmanship Badge and the Good Conduct Medal.
Jimmy was an avid Philadelphia Eagles and Phillies fan and enjoyed watching every game. Jimmy had a zest for life, to know Jimmy was to love Jimmy. He loved walking around town meeting new people. Jimmy was also very big in his faith and loved reciting the bible. His favorite thing though was spending time with his family.
Besides his parents, Jimmy is predeceased in death by his brother, Stephen Ladislaw, his brother-in-law, Jim Neary and his beloved daughter, Jennifer Ladislaw.
Jimmy is survived by his loving sister, Carol Ann Neary, his sons, James “Jimmy” Ladislaw, John (Jackie Norbeck) Ladislaw, and Michael, Ladislaw. Also, his five grandchildren, Zachary, Grace, Luke, and Leah Ladislaw, and Alyssa Norbeck.
Relatives and Friends are invited to his Viewing, Monday, February 2nd, 10:30 AM – 12:15 PM followed by his Funeral Service 12:30 PM in the Main Chapel at the DAnjolell-Barone Memorial Home of Wallingford, 908 S. Providence Rd., Wallingford, PA 19086. Interment Holy Cross Cemetery.
