Jesus Alirio Ibarra of Aston passed away peacefully on December 24, 2024.

Jesus was born in Sopetran, Colombia and served in the Colombian Coast Guard. After graduating from college in his home country he came to the U.S. to continue his studies, eventually graduating from Temple University.

He worked as a tax agent for the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania.

He enjoyed spending time with his family, friends. He also enjoyed camping and going to the beach. Later in life he enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren.

Devoted husband of Margarita (nee Escobar), loving father of Mauricio, Leonardo and his stepchildren Gladys, Fernando, Alberto and Alvaro.

Cherished grandfather of Gabriel, Anthony, Christian, Mia, Leonardo Jr., Bianca, Javier, Nataly, Jessica, Angela and Parker.

Brother of Guillermo, Magda, Irma, Miriam, Beatriz, Lucia, and Ramon.

Relatives & Friends are invited to his viewing Saturday Jan. 4th at 9:30 – 10:45 AM at St. Joseph Church 3255 Concord Rd. Aston. His funeral mass will follow at 11am, Interment will be private.
