BROGANJohn E. “Jack” Brogan, age 89, died on September 4, 2017 at his home in Chester Springs, PA.He is survived by his grandson, Nicholas B. Brogan of Houston, TX and two great-grandchildren. He is preceded in death by his wife, Rachel S. Brogan; his daughter, Gillian B. Wiederseim and his son, Benjamin J. Brogan.Jack was born on April 20, 1928 in Springfield, Massachusetts to parents, Edward G. and Henrietta (nee Gour) Brogan. He was a US Army veteran and graduated from Worchester Poly Tech Institute with a degree in Aero-Mechanical Engineering. He became a design engineer with General Electric in Massachusetts, followed by positions with the GE Space Program in King of Prussia and Danco Precision in Phoenixville. After retirement, he volunteered his time designing the water wheel at the Mill at Anselma.Special thanks to his loving caregiver, Veiga Beiter and his longtime companion, Deirdre G.
