John “Jack” Joseph Foltz Jr.

John “Jack” Joseph Foltz, Jr. of Media, PA passed away peacefully on January 10, 2025, at the age of 85.

Devoted husband of Rosalie (nee Woods),

Loving father of John Foltz III, Margaret “Maggie” (Eric) Davis. Also survived by his cherished grandchildren Samantha, Ethan, Liam, and Owen Davis.

Son of the late Joseph, Sr. & Mary Foltz, brother of the late Eugene Foltz.  And survived by his brother, Elwood Foltz and sister Evelyn Layne.

Jack was born and raised in Aston, Pa. He graduated from Eddystone High School. Afterwards, he enlisted in the United States Army and was Honorably Discharged in 1969 in the 2nd Armored Division. He received the Good Conduct medal, Sharpshooter Rifle and Rifle M-14.

Jack retired in 2005 after 19 years at PPG Industries INC as a manager for special chemicals.

After retirement, Jack volunteered for the United Way, Meals on Wheels, RICA Eucharistic Minister for St. Joseph’s Parish in Aston. He was a member of the Aston Township Historical Society.

Jack was a huge Philadelphia Flyers fan. He enjoyed working on his family’s ancestors, gardening, reading, and enjoyed spending time with his family especially his grandkids.

Relatives and friends are invited to his Viewing Friday 9 – 10:15 AM at St. Joseph

Church 3255 Concord Rd. Aston.   Funeral Mass 10:30 AM

Interment will be private.
