John R. Hopkins, age 85, of Oxford, PA formerly of Aston, PA passed away peacefully on Jan. 19, 2014 surrounded by family and friends. He worked for Teledyne Wirz as a machinist for 50 years. He served in the Army during the Korean War. He enjoyed watching the sunset over the Chesapeake with his loving wife of 60 years. He loved boating, old cars, Harleys and traveling the USA with his wife. He was preceded in death by his wife, Dolores (Hurst) and siblings; Donald, Patrick, Mary, Betty, Joseph and Bernard. He is survived by his 3 daughters; Gail (the late Jeffery) Rhodes, Karen (Dave) LaFage) and Kathleen Palita. Also survived by his grandchildren; Tiffany, Brent, Lori, Michael, John, Candice, Kristilynn Davis, Aliza and 9 great-grandchildren. Brothers James and Harry and sister, Dolores Prost. Relatives and friends are invited to his Viewing, Saturday 9:30 to 10:15 AM at the D’Anjolell-Stigale Memorial Home at 3260 Concord Road, Aston, PA. Service at 10:30 AM in our Main Chapel.
