Kathleen M. Murray

Kathleen Margaret Murray “Aunt Kath”, age 65, of Atlantic City, passed away peacefully and with dignity on July 19, 2022, at Shore Memorial Hospital in Somers Point, NJ. Formerly of Southwest Phila., Kathleen devoted many of her early years working with children as a childcare provider, later, Kathleen worked in the food service industry as a banquet server.

Daughter of the late William John & Mary Kathleen Murray. Loving sister of Stephen Murray, cherished Aunt of Jason (Willie) Murray and Thomas (Paula) Orme, doting Great Aunt to Jackson and Logan Murray, and Noah and Ava Orme. Treasured cousin of James (Denise), Francis, Edward (Gina), Patrick, and Cathy (Frankie) Murray. Beloved cousin to the O’Haras of Springfield, PA.

Kathleen immensely enjoyed spending time with her friends and is well known for the parties and events that she hosted. Her passion in life was caring for children. Kathleen valued reading books from the time she was a little girl and was always looking forward to Christmas, her favorite holiday. Kathleen was infamous for guarding her most sought-after recipes (especially her cinnamon cake) and her lifelong clumsiness. Kathleen had an ability to open her heart and home to any person in need (including stray dogs). She will always be fondly remembered as “Aunt Kath” to all and will be truly missed.

Relatives & Friends are invited to meet with the family on Tuesday July 26th from 5 – 6:15 pm at the Danjolell- Stigale Memorial Home 3260 Concord Road Aston, Pa. 19014.

Funeral services will be held at 6:30pm in our Main Chapel. Interment will be private.

In lieu of flowers donations in Kathleen’s name can be made to St. Jude Research Hospital.
