Kevin E. Bakey

Kevin E. Bakey, of Media, PA, 45 years old, suddenly passed away August, 2, 2025 at his  home. Born in Crozer Chester Medical Center, Upland, PA to Martin T. and Patricia M. (Heeney) Bakey, Kevin was educated in the Penn Delco School District and received his bachelor’s degree from West Chester University of Pennsylvania. He was a lifelong resident of Delaware County, PA, residing in Brookhaven, Aston, and Media.

Kevin had a huge heart and was a very kind, loving, and loyal man to his family and friends. He was the type of person who would do anything, for anyone, all you had to do was ask, and he was there. He always had a smile on his face. One of Kevin’s favorite places was in Toms River, New Jersey. Down the street from his family’s vacation house, he found solitude just being in nature. Kevin was a very hard worker and was employed as a Bartender/Waiter at DiFabios Restaurant in Media. He was a huge fan of  University of Michigan Wolverines and a very loyal Philadelphia Sports nut. Whether it was The Eagles, Phillies, Flyers or Sixers, Kevin would be able to tell you the stats about all of the teams.

Kevin was predeceased by his paternal grandparents; Edward and Mary Bakey; his maternal grandparents Charles and Marie      Heeney; and his uncle James Bakey.

Left to cherish his memory are his parents; Marty and Pat Bakey, his brothers; Michael and Marty Bakey, his longtime girlfriend Brooke, many aunts, uncles, cousins, and a host of friends.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend Kevin’s Mass of Christian Burial on Monday, August 11, 2025 at 12:00 noon at the Church of St. Joseph, 3255 Concord Rd., Aston PA 19014. Viewing from 9:00AM – 12:00 noon in the church. Burial will take place privately in S.S. Peter & Paul Cemetery in Springfield, PA.
