PARKER Linda S. (nee Smith), age 75, of Paoli, passed away peacefully on March 26, 2018, surrounded by her family. Linda was the beloved wife of the late Charles H. and loving mother of Sean and Ryan Dempsey and step-mother of Ted Parker, Cynthia Herman and the late Suzannah Goss. Linda is also survived by her 2 grandchildren, Emma and Cole Dempsey, 6 step-grandchildren and her sister, Sue Leighton. Linda was a graduate of the Lankenau School of Nursing and then spent over 30 years at Lankenau Hospital as a nurse and then as the Supervisor of Nursing until her retirement in 1996. She then worked for Chester-Crozer Health before finally retiring to travel and spend time with friends, family and especially her grandchildren. Relatives and friends are invited to her Viewing on Wednesday evening, April 4th, 6-8 PM at the Danjolell Memorial Home of Frazer, 392 Lancaster Ave., Frazer, PA 19355. Relatives and friends are also invited to her Viewing in Church on Thursday, April 5th, 9-9:45 AM followed by her Funeral Mass at 10 AM at St. Isaac Jogues Church, 50 W. Walker Rd, Wayne, PA 19087. Interment Fernwood Cemetery, Royersford, PA. In Lieu of flowers, the family ask that Contributions in Linda’s memory be made to the Home Care and Hospice Foundation of Main Line Health, 240 S. Radnor Chester Rd., Radnor, PA 19087.
