I was so sorry to hear of Linda's passing. I lived down the street from her for 25 yrs inWhiteland Ridge here in Pa. I recently moved at Christmas. Linda was a kind loving woman always saying hello on her many walks down the street. When I was in a car accident it was she who came to help me- she was so comforting. My sincere condolences to her husband and family.

Kathy Meltzer left a message on March 18, 2025:
Linda and I met several years at an Interfaith Action Community of Chester County (IAC) meeting. Linda was a devoted Baha'i who generously shared about her faith, and last spring, presented an excellent lecture on "Death and Afterlife Beliefs and Traditions" from the Baha'i perspective. She was always studying, praying, and serving others to strengthen her spiritual journey. Linda was a well respected, valued, and loved member of the IAC. Over the years, we became friends - sharing a meal; discussing our different faiths; volunteering at a local food pantry; or playing pinochle with our husbands. I am grateful for our friendship and will always remember her warm, welcoming manner, twinkle in her eyes, and beautiful smile. Ed and I extend our heartfelt condolences to Steve, Brian, Jonathan, and their strong women (as Linda often referred to them) and prayers for comfort and peace.
Peace of mind is a call away. We’re here when you need us most.

I was so so sad to hear of Linda’s death! I felt calmer just being in her presence. I hope Steve and the boys will find some comfort in the fact that she touched so many people in her life. I will really miss her!
Charlotte Williams left a message on March 18, 2025:
I have always referred to Linda as an 'Angel'. She was a tireless Servant, *always* doing things behind the scenes that people didn't know about - she was incredibly thoughtful and quietly served others, without any fanfare or need for recognition. She worked on building community in so many ways. She always had a smile on her face! I will miss that, and I will miss her. And oh my goodness, she was SO PROUD of her boys! I could always feel the deep love for them when she spoke of their characters and accomplishments. The world has lost a light but now, we will feel her beautiful soul, shining on us from the next world. All of her precious family are in our prayers. Charlotte, Kendal and the Williams Family xoxo

To our extended Unruh family and their spouses, Barbara and Jake, Maryellen and Rick, Jimmy and Beverly and Susan we grieve with you. Grief is Love with nowhere to go. We will miss Linda and I am missing you all right now. With love from your southern cousins, Colleen Van Fossen, Keith Van Fossen and Phyllis Vanderberg.

I was so saddened to hear about dear Linda’s passing. My mom and I said several prayers together for her and for the comfort of the whole family. She has been a dear friend for our family for many years, since we first met in Massachusetts and then later when she moved to PA and we moved to NJ. She was a steadfast and dedicated Baha’i, a generous and open-hearted soul, and a kind and devoted mother. May her soul be surrounded by love and light always.

I was shocked and sadden to learn of Linda's passing. Her and husband Steve, moved next door when they first moved to Massachusetts. We became more then neighbors but God friends. At the time my wife and I had a daughter 5 years old and a son 1. Many a day and night you could see Linda and Steve observing our children and as the days, works and months passed you could tell they were prepping themselves to become parents as well. Which they did and became wonderful and loving parents of thier boys. Linda was full of life and laughter and was a joy to be around. When she and Steve moved back to PA. We missed them terribly. My condolences to her wonderful husband and friend Steve and her boys and Linda's and Steve's extended family and friends.. God Bless Donald Landmesser

My husband Scott and I are profoundly saddened to learn of the passing of dear Linda, such a kind, generous, and beautiful soul! We lived in the same town in MA before Linda and Stephen moved back to PA. My daughter is a few months younger than Brian and we used to get together for the kids to play and we would talk and share Baha'i prayers. The birth of Brian and Jonathan brought her so much joy! She was a dear friend. Our deepest condolences to Stephen, Brian, Jonathan and family. You are in our hearts and memories here in MA and we will be praying for Linda's radiant soul!

I am deeply saddened to learn of the passing of this dear soul. Though I moved to Maryland a few years ago and haven't seen Linda recently, I remember her kindness and compassion. My two sons are the same age as her two sons and went to Baha'i children's' classes together when they were younger. Linda's spirit of service was an inspiration.

My dear and wonderful Baha'i sister, I can't believe that you have passed on to the Abha Kingdom. All that knew you are broken hearted. I will love you always and will keep your sons and Steve close to my heart. May you rest in the palm of God's hands. With lots of love from, Baha'u'llah .

Kathy Cook left a message on March 15, 2025:
Linda was my best friend and just the kindest, sweetest person I have ever met. She will be missed. I can't even express the joy and sweetness that she added to my life. She loved playing games and we were learning how to play bridge. It isn't fair that she is gone, I can't believe it. She always spoke highly of her sons and their wives and of Steve. She always said Steve was a very good man and she was lucky to be married to him,
