My Dear Cousin Loretta was special to me especially when we were young children. So many great memories and thoughts of our family. The one thing that I remember is that she always took me up to see the free bands playing on Belmont Hill on Sundays in the summer! This surely started my love for music that I’ve had the rest of my life! Her faith and love in God and the Blessed Mother was above and beyond most of us and was something to strive for . She didn’t have an easy life by far but she never wanted or wished for more than she was granted. Her love for her mother Agnes Ines and uncle Joseph always warmed my heart. We all will miss you for sure but I do know we’ll all be united one day as it were a Christmas in the 1960s when most all our family was still around. God bless you and sleep in Christ love ! Cousin Dennis

Loretta will be greatly missed! I always loved to talk with and pray with her. She had such amazing faith. I am a cat person myself, so I also enjoyed talking with her about her "little babies". Loretta and her family will always be in my prayers. God rest her soul, my deepest condolences.

Loretta was the kindest soul. She cared about everyone, and loved everyone. I loved speaking with her when she would call in and tell us about her life, her cats, ask for prayer requests, just share a laugh with us. We will miss her sweet voice and kind spirit, but I feel safe in saying she is no longer in pain and is being held in the arms of Jesus now. God bless you, and may you rest in peace with our Lord.
Peace of mind is a call away. We’re here when you need us most.

I will miss taking Loretta’s calls and telling me how much she loves Jesus, our Blessed Mother and St Joseph. She always managed to find Peace, the Peace that only God can give, in the middle of her painful situation; and no matter how bad things got for her she always spoke eloquently of the Most Holy Trinity. She never turned her back on God but accepted her sufferings. Her frequent calls to EWTN provided a space where she could express her feelings and escape from her reality, increasing her hopes for a brighter rest of her day. From time to time, she would ask me to sing, I would refuse saying I don’t have a good voice, but she would immediately reprimand me saying, “don’t say that you have a beautiful voice”. Loretta was so aware of God’s gifts to all of us. She will always end the call saying” I love you”. It took me a while to respond to her with those same words, but when I did, she knew I meant it. Lord do not call your servant to account; for no one can stand guiltless in your presence unless you grant him forgiveness of all her sins. Therefore, we pray, that in passing judgment you will not let your sentence fall heavily on one who is commended to you by the sincere prayer of Christian faith. But with the help of your grace may this servant, who during life was sealed with the sign of the Blessed Trinity, be found worthy of escaping the doom of your vengeance. We ask this of you who live and reign for ever and ever. Amen.

Loretta was a sweet and kind soul. She would call many times a day at the EWTN call center where I work and I had the pleasure of speaking with her, praying and singing with her. She will be greatly missed by many of us in the call center as she was our favorite caller. My condolences to your family. Please be assured of my prayers.
