With 95 years, Louise Nowak’s soul left her body the morning of December 28th, 2025. She was born September 4, 1930, in Boothwyn, PA.
Louise was predeceased by her husband, Benjamin Nowak; her parents Rawlings and Mary Tyson; her brothers and sisters-in-law, William “Billy” Tyson (Erma) and Rawlings “Bud” Tyson (Marian), and many other loving family members and friends. Louise leaves behind her three beautiful and loving daughters – Gloria McKinney (Robert), Anne Mill, and Terri Nowak (Ron Stevens); 4 Grandchildren; 7 Great Grandchildren; and many nieces, nephews, and friends.
At a young age, she worked at Honeysuckle Farms and a local bank. Additionally, she worked a number of years at Boothwyn Pharmacy and Walgreens. Louise spent the majority of her time loving and caring for her family, especially her grandchildren and great grandchildren. She enjoyed reading the Daily Times every day. She was a member of Red Wood – Upland Senior Citizens Club, playing Bingo weekly and having previously served the club as both President and Sunshine Lady. Louise loved playing cards, going to the casino, and reading. Her sense of humor, compassion for others, and genuine love for her family made every day with her joyful. Louise was a longtime Philadelphia sports fan! She was an avid lover of animals, known for supporting the rescue missions of the local SPCA.
There will be a celebration of her life, to which all are invited. It will be held January 6, 2026 from 10 AM – 11 AM at D’anjolell – Stigale Memorial Homes 3260 Concord Rd in Aston, PA.
