I remember her as "Aunt Mary" married to my mother's (Nancy Pinto Downs) brother, Joseph Pinto. She was a sweet and gentle soul and I really enjoyed spending time at her in my younger years. We'd been out of touch for many years but I will always think fondly of her. All of the Pinto siblings are now gone, may all their souls rest in peace.

I was acquainted with Mary J. Pinto as a parishioner at St Iranaeus (now Divine Mercy Parish) and resident of 7122 Dorel street for 56 years, of my life. I am saddened to learn of her passing, this day, May 19, 2016. I will miss her smile and friendly face every Sunday morning at Mass. My condolences to her family and friends, but am comforted knowing that God has another angel watching over us.
