Mary Patricia (nee Sharkey) Born on February 3, 1933 and Died on December 31, 2025 at the age of 92. She lived in Havertown, and formerly of Wynnefield / West Phila., PA.

Predeceased by her son Robert “Bobby” Wood, her brother Sean Sharkey, and her sisters Susan Startzell and Eileen Colgan.

Survived by her Sister Ann King of Medford Lakes NJ, Her Daughters Patricia “Patty” (Edward Loeble) Wood, Ann Wood, Mary (Montez) nWinters, and Susan Sterner, her 4 Grandchildren : Lisa (Kevin), Michael, Alex, and Caroline, and 2 Great Grandchildren whom she loved dearly Noah and Ryan and many Nieces and Nephews.

She Graduated from West Catholic High School for Girls in 1952.

Worked for Septa as a Cashier, stationed at the Market-Frankford Line, for 35 years. She was also the Treasurer of the Septa Union-Local 234.

She loved going to the Jersey Shore every summer with her children and grandchildren. She was loved dearly by everyone who met her, she will be missed by all.

Relatives and friends are invited to her viewing Monday Morning, January 12, 2026; 9:30 a.m. – 10:15 a.m. followed by Funeral Mass 10:30 a.m. ALL IN CHURCH at St. Dorothy’s Church, 4910 Township Line Rd., Drexel Hill, PA 19026. Interment Calvary Cemetery.
