Matthew, age 69, on June 7, 2024, of Boothwyn, PA.

During his working years, he was employed in the securities data processing field. In his retirement, Matthew worked as a Bus Paraprofessional for the Garnet Valley School District, where he loved taking care of special needs kids. He enjoyed playing guitar, singing, listening to all kinds of music and watching sports, especially the N.Y. Yankees and the N.Y. Giants. Matthew was a cantor and a member of the choir at the Church of the Holy Child in Wilmington, Delaware.

He was predeceased by his father, Matthew Nardone, Sr. “Matty” is survived by his beloved wife and best friend of 45 years, Linda (nee LaMorto) Nardone, his mother, Marylouise Nardone, and his sister, Patrice Cervone (Frank).

Relatives & friends are invited to his Funeral Mass on Wednesday, June 12th at 11:00 AM at the Church of the Holy Child, 2500 Naamans Road, Wilmington, DE 19810. Interment Mount Hope Cemetery.

Matt exemplified the characteristics of our wonderful community -- kind, warm-hearted, talented and engaged. His sonorous tenor as a member of our chorus made memorable music for all who heard him. Matt was the Caruso of Creekside who can never be replaced. I know fellow Creeksiders will continue reaching out with sympathy and support to his devoted wife Linda as she does her best to cope with this devastating loss.❤️
