1979~2019MalinowskiMichael Christopher Sr., age 40, of Morton PA, formerly of Gloucester City, NJ, passed suddenly on December 3, 2019. Predeceased by his father Robert Malinowski, Sr. Survived by his cherished wife Melissa (nee Aglidian) Malinowski; adoring children; Harper, Cooper, Matthew, Michael Jr., and Bailey Malinowski; his beloved mother Lucille (nee Pratz) Malinowski; loving brother of Robert Jr., and Theresa Malinowski; his in-laws, Sally and Hans Aglidian, Thomas Aglidian (Maureen) and Shannon Hollar (Alex).Mike was a 1997 graduate of Gloucester City Junior-Senior High School where he played football, baseball and ran track. In his teenage years he began his volunteer work with the Gloucester City Fire Department, Pine Groove Station (52) and (54) and ended his tour as a Captain in 2015. Mike became Captain of the Morton-Rutledge Fire Company (13) in 2019, and was on the Board of Directors. He did training and fundraising for the department which included, horseshoe tournaments, spaghetti dinners and an Aunt Mary Pat benefit. He absolutely loved the department more than anything else and would do anything for anyone who needed it. He enjoyed carpentry and helped fix up the crew room and the firefighter memorial located at the fire company. He was handy and built patio chairs and a table for his home. Mike loved to cook and barbque. He would not only cook for the crew and for his family, but for the last two summers he would BBQ for the Knowlton Swim Club to raise money for the swim team. Mike participated in bringing Santa around to the residents of Morton and Rutledge. He was at the Rutledge tree lighting ceremony on Monday night.Mike was a Disney, Star Wars and Marvel fanatic. He had seen every Marvel movie. His favorite character was the Punisher. Mike and his wife Melissa were married in 2015, then had a ceremony at Canada in EPCOT and a honeymooon at Disney World in April 2017.He worked for the Meizinger Construction Service, Inc. and Misssion BBQ in Springfield.Relatives, friends and his Brotherhood of Firefighters are invited to his Visitation on Saturday, December 14th, 9:30 AM-11:45AM, followed by his Funeral Mass at 12 NOON (ALL IN CHURCH) at Our Lady of Perpetual Help Church, 2130 Franklin Ave, Morton, PA 19070.
