ANTONUCCI
Pasquale “Pat” E., age 88, passed away June 28, 2025, on his wedding anniversary of Broomall, PA and Cape May, NJ.
Pat was named after his grandfather Pasquale, who came to America in 1904 and established the P. Antonucci Furniture Store on 49th Street in Philadelphia. Early in life he enjoyed the love, cooking and Italian traditions of his grandparents, parents and dozens of aunts, uncles and cousins. He was a devoted son to Carmella (nee D’Ulisse) and brother to Rosemary (Rubertucci). Blessed with handsome looks, you could always find Pat enjoying a lovely smelling pipe or cigar in his bachelor days. He amassed an impressive train collection that he displayed proudly well into his 80’s. A plumber by trade, he was also a long-time member of the maintenance team at Hahnemann Hospital.
As blessed as he was, Pat’s life only really started when he found a soulmate in Beverly Slavic and their 30 amazing years of marriage. Together they shared a love of poodles, countless trips to places like Key West and Italy, her gourmet cooking and making priceless memories with his nieces and nephews in Pennsylvania, Cape May and the Dominican Republic. Without Beverly by his side, Pat bravely spent almost 15 years continuing her devotion to family and even keeping in touch with her college friends. He also embraced all the healthy eating and work-out routines she inspired until his last days. Although he stayed current with the latest technology, he never changed her voice as his cell phone voicemail greeting and it is a testament to his love for her and gives us some comfort that he passed on their wedding anniversary. He will be fondly remembered by everyone as Uncle Pat, and he would have preferred it that way.
Predeceased by his wife, Beverly (nee Slavic) Antonucci, his parents, Carmella (nee D’Ulisse) and Frank Antonucci, his sister, Rosemary Rubertucci (the late Louis), and his three dogs: Ollie, Max, and Matt.
Survived by his nephew, Louie Rubertucci, his niece, Renee Rubertucci Whitworth (Stuart), his brother-in-laws, Jeffrey Slavich and Doug Slavic, and his loving great nieces and nephews.
Relatives & friends are invited to his Visitation Tuesday, July 15th 11:00 AM – 11:45 AM followed by his Memorial Service 12 NOON in the Main Chapel at the D’Anjolell Memorial Home of Broomall, 2811 West Chester Pike, Broomall, PA 19008. Inurnment Private.
