KASHISHIAN

Peter R., age 94, on March 20, 2025, of King of Prussia, PA, formerly of Overbrook, PA.

Peter was predeceased by his parents, Marie (nee Tekian) and Rouben Kashishian, and his loving sister, Martha Ohanesian.

Survived by his wife of 70 years, Louise C (nee Manco) Kashishian, and his children, Diane Kashishian-Stefanatto (Franco) and Robert “Bob” Kashishian (Dawn).  His three grandchildren, Quinn (Breannen), Kori, and Giuliano, and his two great-grandchildren, Giovanni and Giulian.

Most important in Peter’s life was his family.  Everything he did was for them.  The love of his life was Louise and they enjoyed sharing a home together and raising their family.  Peter served as a proud Marine and kept alive in Korea by being a cook.  He was a computer programmer by trade, but his passion was cars and gardening.  The neighbors used to drive by and ask him to clean their cars!!  His green thumb provided an amazing array of vegetables and the flowers surrounding his home were stunning.  He was blessed with a wonderful sense of humor and shared it with everyone!  Passionate about Philly sports teams, he used to take his son Bob to Connie Mack Stadium.  He enjoyed playing both Softball and Bowling with work friends, the trophies were endless.  He loved the gym and staying healthy and used to go three times a week until Covid hit (age 90).  He enjoyed traveling to CA to visit his sister Martha & family and a few extra trips to Italy, Alaska & Mexico, to name a few.

Relatives & friends are invited to his Viewing Friday, March 28^th 12 NOON – 12:45 PM followed by his Funeral Service 1:00 PM in the Main Chapel at the D’Anjolell Memorial Home of Broomall, 2811 West Chester Pike, Broomall, PA 19008.  Inurnment Saints Peter and Paul Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, contributions in Peter’s memory may be made to the Ronald McDonald House Charities of Philadelphia Region at 3925 Chestnut St, Philadelphia, PA 19104.
