August 28,1947 – July 30, 2017 Rex Polier, 69, of Wallingford, passed away on July 30, at Fair Acres Nursing Home, surrounded by loving family.He was born August 28, 1948 in Camden, New Jersey the son of the late Rex J. and Emily (Shaw) Polier.He was a veteran of the Navy serving during the Vietnam conflict.Rex worked as a musician, playing gigs with Chubby Checker at the Atlanta Olympics 1996, Len Barry, and numerous local musiciains. He carried his keyboards everywhere he went, including family beach bonfires. He loved traveling to Martha’s Vineyard and Key West, and enjoyed spending time with his children and family.Formerly married to Bette Chandler of Malvern, PA, he is survived by their children Allan and Mary Polier of Malvern, PA, his fiancée Frances Bates of Swarthmore, PA, his siblings; Suzanne (David) Tucker of Wilmington, DE, Mary Clare (Rick) Chevalier of Springfield, PA, Demi(Bob) Hauseman of Carlisle,PA, John (Melissa) Polier of Quakertown, PA, Peter (Lisa) Polier of Broomall, PA and many nieces and nephews.Memorial Sevices will be held at D’Anjolell Barone Memorial Homes of Wallingford, PA 908 S. Providence Road Wallingford, PA on Saturday, August 19 at 11:00 am. Visitation will be from 11:00-12:00 with a short memorial service following.
