GIOVANETTI

Richard A. (age 80) passed away on September 12th, 2025. He was the son of the late Dominic & Amelia. He was the founder of Giovanetti Shulman Assosciates in Broomall, Pa. along with his beloved wife Connie M. Giovanetti (nee Ciallella). He is also survived by his son, Dominic, daughter-in law Karen, grandson Adam and dearly supported over the years by many devoted family, friends, Associates and family “brothers” John, Ralph and “sisters” Jaye and Jeanne.

Relatives, friends, and associates are warmly invited to Richard’s visitation on Thursday 9:00am followed by his Funeral Mass 10:30 am at St. Pius X Catholic Church, 220 Lawrence Road, Broomall, PA 19008. Interment private at later date.

Rich - Colleague, gentlemen and friend. You left a positive everlasting impression that we have all been blessed with. Rest in Peace.

Rich was an integral part of the success MMA over the years and we will always be grateful.

Rich was so warm and welcoming when we moved into the neighborhood. Him & Connie introduced themselves and we became fast friends. Rich was so warm & caring - a wonderful friend & neighbor. We are lucky to have known him & can only hope we were as good to him as he was to us. I know he’s watching over Connie & Dominick - his love & devotion to them was more important to him than all else. And, as we spent MANY an exciting game rooting for them alongside Rich, I have no doubt he’s watching over the Eagles as they try to get back to the Super Bowl. Go Birds, Richie!

I extend my heartfelt condolences to the family of Rich Giovanetti. I had the privilege of working alongside Rich and the G-SA team for more than ten years on numerous projects. Throughout that time, I came to know Rich not only as a true professional but also as someone who was an absolute pleasure to work with. Rich was a trusted mentor, always willing to share his wisdom and guidance, whether it was navigating a challenging situation or offering thoughtful advice on the next steps forward with my career. I will deeply miss those conversations and the insight he so generously provided. Above all, Rich was a great friend. His kindness, integrity, and friendship will be profoundly missed.

So sorry to hear of Rich's passing. He was a giant personality in every room he walked into...He was a super creative engineer and problem solver. Rest in Peace Rich....

I met Rich when I went to work for him, I wasn't sure if I was an employee or family... He went above and beyond for me as a friend and an employee, the world lost a good man. He got me over my fear of flying when I had to go to Biloxi with him. Rich and Connie got my son Joey, his first cookbook. A genuine good man and family, I am a better person for knowing him and his family, I am so sorry for your loss. A favorite memory of mine is the GSA Christmas parties. Rich forced all the newbies to sing, I think after he heard me sing he regrated it... God Bless RIP Richie

He hired me when I was just a young person in the engineering field and greatly contributed to my career growth. My career would have not been the same without his input. I knew Rich through work. I always enjoyed every conversation I had with him. He was just a wealth a knowledge and a quick witted sense of humor. We got along instantly and I found myself just calling him to talk and laugh. I will definitely miss him.
