Richard G. Vitucci

Richard G. Vitucci, 85, of Springfield, PA, passed away peacefully on May 25, 2023. Rich was born on October 28, 1937 in Philadelphia, PA, to Nick and Rose Vitucci. He worked at Honeywell in Engineering and Design for many years before retiring and pursuing a second career as a real estate appraiser which he enjoyed until his second retirement in 2021.

Rich was an avid golfer and skier. He played with his work league on Tuesday nights for many years and enjoyed hitting the slopes during the winter months.

Rich is survived by his loving wife, Jane (nee DeGiovanni), three daughters – Dayna Wozar (Geoffrey), Jill Valentino (Carmen), and Ashley Ortiz (Ernesto), two stepdaughters – Lauren Derby (Peter) and Andrea Sommer (Yoshi), and eleven grandchildren – Gianna, Alexandria, and Carmen (Julie) Valentino, Julian, Adriana, and Nicholas Ortiz, Anderson Wozar, Jack and Penelope Derby, and Evan and Ella Sommer. He is also survived by his sister, Jeanette Fetter, two nieces, and a nephew. Rich was loved by his friends and neighbors.

Visitation will be from 11 AM to 1 PM on Friday, June 2nd, at D’Anjolell Memorial Home in Broomall, PA. In lieu of flowers, please send donations to Unite for Her, 127 East Chestnut Street, First Floor, West Chester, PA 19380.
