Richard T Miller of West Grove, PA, age 77, entered eternity on June 25, 2024.
Richard had a way of captivating people with his wit and incredible stories of adventure in life. He enjoyed playing golf, especially at Baywood. He had a career of 35 years at PECO as a safety engineer. His favorite job was on the Cape May Ferry sailing with the utmost pride, from cleaning surfaces to steering the ship, and he did it with a beaming smile. Richard was known to always be up on the latest technology and readily had the newest gadgets available.
He was in the Knights of Columbus, and a Marine Veteran of the Vietnam Combat Organization. Richard earned a Purple Heart, Riffle Marksman, and Presidential Unit award, along with many other notable honors. Rich was the first to recognize and thank other veterans in the community for their brotherhood in combat.
His immense love of God, his family, and our country was second to none.
Predeceased by his parents, Pasquelina (nee Prudente), and Francis Miller, Sr., and his brothers, Francis Miller, Jr., Joseph Miller, and David Miller.
Survived by his wife, Kathleen T. (nee O’Connor) Miller, his children, Kristin Henry (Harry), Kelly Kerley (Joe), Allison McGuire (Dennis), Patricia Watson, Christine Palmer (James), Lauren Voshell (Brandon), and Edwin Kelley IV (Christine), his 14 grandchildren, and one great-grandchild.
Relatives & friends are invited to his Visitation Friday, July 5th 10:00 AM – 10:45 AM followed by his Funeral Mass 11:00 AM ALL IN CHURCH at Sacred Heart Church 203 Church Rd, Oxford, PA 19363. Inurnment Saints Peter and Paul Cemetery.
