I met Rita at Italian class. She was warm and friendly and we swapped stories about local people. When she said she grew up in south Philly I asked her if she remembered the big move controversy in the area. I told her that my dad went to Penn Law and his classmate was the judge who ruled on that incident. His name was “Pete” DiBona. She looked at me with a silly smile and said that she was his prom date! Wow! It’s a very small world! Our connection had just been made for a very sweet interaction for those many years since. God bless her and her family and know that she was loved and appreciated by everyone who knew her!!
