Robert A. Campanaro

Robert A. Campanaro, age 87, passed away on July 18, 2026, in Coatesville, PA. He was formerly of Philadelphia.

Bob was born in West Philadelphia, where he spent his early years before moving to Springfield, Delaware County. It was there that he met and married his high school sweetheart, Celestine “Tina” Vishneski. They eventually moved to Malvern, PA, where they raised their five children.

Bob spent most of his career in the printing trade and worked as a wedding photographer to supplement his income. He was a talented and creative artist, with a particular gift for oil painting, wood carving, and photography.

Bob had a wonderful appreciation for the simple things he loved. He enjoyed slapstick comedy, old Western movies, and anything involving horses. He raised German Shorthaired Pointers and had a lifelong love of hunting and fishing.

Bob was predeceased by his beloved wife, Celestine D. “Tina” (nee Vishneski) Campanaro; his son, Steven P. Campanaro; and his parents, Philomena (nee Morrone) and Nicholas Campanaro, and his siblings, Pasquale Campanaro, Marie Green, and Dolores McGinley.

He is survived by his children, Robert D. Campanaro and his wife, Violi; Tracy Ann Campanaro; Nicholas G. Campanaro and his wife, Ann Marie; and Michelle Campanaro. He is also survived by his grandchildren, Nicholas, Jonathan, Christina, Anthony, Danielle, Michael, Nicholas, Joseph, Valinda, Vina, and Veronica.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend his visitation on Thursday, August 27, from 10:00 to 10:45 a.m., followed by his Funeral Mass at 11:00 a.m., at Saint Patrick Roman Catholic Church, 104 Channing Avenue, Malvern, PA 19355. Inurnment will follow at Philadelphia Memorial Park.

In lieu of flowers, contributions in Robert’s memory may be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.
