Thank you for trusting me with Stassi and for always parking my car when I couldn’t handle the city. I remember cracking up at how close you’d moved the seat forward because you had no reference for how close a Ho it like me should be to the wheel. I always looked forward to our chats about Villanova and your hunting adventures. Thank you for always being one of the nicest parents I’ve ever had the pleasure of working for and the best dad to my tiny bestie. I’m sorry to not have shared a laugh with you for so long. I will never forget the first time you walked into our classroom and had to duck to avoid hitting the ceiling. You were a giant in size and in spirit. I will always appreciate your kindness and patience in my early years of teaching. I’m very lucky to have met and gotten close to you and your incredible family. I hope you’re enjoying heavenly walks with Momo and the og Abby❤️ rest in paradise, Friend.

Thank you Bobby for accepting me with love and kindness (always) into the family. I have so many memories of our phone conversations and texts- and especially the love and care you had for your cousin Bobby. I remember springing Uncle Junior out of the nursing home. The phone ringing late one night and you saying “Let’s go f-ing get him”. We will love you and miss you with whatever time we have left.

Remembering the 1st time I met Bob at CNGC 15 or so years ago. My partner is about 4’11” and he looks up at Bobby, as he shakes his hand on the tee, and says let’s bag the golf and play one on horse. The best 9 hole match at Commonwealth ever!

Everytime I saw Bob it brought an immediate smile to my face and a lift to my spirits. He had an ability to bring joy into people’s lives so naturally. Our heartfelt prayers to his family and all of his friends. May the joy he brought all of us reside in us daily and be something we share with others as a testament to his life.

The world was a better place because of Bob. He was a friend to so many people, yet he made each of those people feel like they were a significant part of his life. I’m not sure how to process the loss of someone who was such a vibrant and good force of nature. Always a smile, always a kind word, and always looking to find joy in life. I’m thankful that he was a part of my life, sad for all of us who loved him, and sadder still for others who never got a chance to meet him. My condolences to his family - I know how much he loved you all. May his memory be a blessing and comfort. It is an honor to have been your friend, Bob. Rest in peace.

Bobby was a kind, funny, and generous man. Our mother,s were widowed at the same time and they became best friends. I started going over Bobby’s house to celebrate holidays when I was sixteen years old through being a married adult. Bobby welcomed my mother, brother, and myself with open arms. We felt at home right away. I cherish all of those holidays. I remember one Easter in particular. Everyone at the table was laughing about the phrase, “ Show me the money.” They all had seen the movie, Jerry Maguire. Bobby and I had no idea what they were talking about. We were the only two who had not seen the movie. He turned to and said, “‘I feel like we are missing out.” Then he asked if I wanted to go see the movie. There we were ( after dinner) at the movies on Easter Sunday. That was Bobby, he always wanted to include everyone and have a good time. I know Heaven has gained an angel and a bright light. God bless you, Bobby. I know you will be reunited with your parents. You have left a lasting impression on so many peoples’ lives with your sense of humor and generosity. ❤️

Bob I wish we had more time... You will be missed!
Maureen and Carli Gootee left a message on September 16, 2024:
Bobbi was a gentle giant with a heart larger than he was. He was a cousin, and a great friend. He would always take the time to listen, and help you in almost any way imaginable. He had a beautiful soul, and not a mean bone in his body. When my husband died, he called me, and was at my house that week to help me sort out all my personal papers. He wanted to make sure I was taken care of. We talked about selling my house. Before I knew it, he had a realtor lined up, along with a lawyer to write up my Will. He did everything to make my life easier during such a rough time in my life. That's who Bobbi was. A friend to all, and a caretaker to many. I will miss our calls, and I'll miss your advice. Please rest in peace my friend. You told me many times that you'd do anything to have one more day with your Mom. Well, now you have a lifetime. Tell my son, my husband, and my Dad that I miss them terribly. Give Aunt Maureen a huge hug ❤️
