RAFFERTY, Robert R., age 87, of Newtown Square, formerly of Media, on April 3, 2018.He was the Founder and Owner for over 40 years of Rafferty Subaru in Newtown Square, PA.Beloved husband of 60 years of Dorothy M. (nee Wood) Rafferty and loving father of Kevin M. Rafferty (Sharon), Robert S. Rafferty (Dana) and Dinae Norris (James), and adoring grandfather of Robert S. Rafferty, Jr., Jillian Subbio, Nicole Rafferty, Kevin M. Rafferty, Jr., Chad Rafferty, Paige Norris, Sean Norris and Aidan Norris.He was active in his business until the age of 85. In his free time, he enjoyed spending time in Avalon, N.J. with family and friends. He was also an avid golfer at Rolling Green Golf Club where he was a member for over 35 years. He proudly served in the Air Force as a veteran of the Korean War. Relatives and friends are invited to St Mary Magdalen Church 2400 North Providence Rd Media, Pa. 19063 on Monday, April 9, 2018; Viewing 9:00-10:45 AM followed by his Funeral Mass at 11:00 AM.
