Affectionately known as “Big Rock” by his family, Rocky was a loving father and a devoted friend. He had an unwavering passion for cars, boxing, and spending time with his family. A kind and gentle soul, Rocky was known for his boundless generosity and warm heart.

He proudly worked for Wawa for 26 years and retired in December 2023. A true car enthusiast, Rocky often spent his free time traveling to Carlisle, Pennsylvania, and attending local car shows. His love for cars was infectious, and he cherished sharing stories about his favorite makes and models with his sons, grandsons, and anyone who shared his passion. Rocky also enjoyed boxing and beach outings, hobbies he delighted in sharing with his loved ones. He was preceded in death by his parents, Robert, Sr., and Elizabeth Coale. He is survived by his devoted wife, Molly (nee Timmons); his loving sons, Rocky (Jaime) and Justin and his cherished grandchildren, Charlie, Bennie, and Martie. Rocky is also survived by his sisters, Linda Snarr, Margie King, and Barbara Kertis.

Relatives and friends are invited to gather in his honor on Wednesday evening, January 29, from 6-8 PM at the Danjolell-Stigale Memorial Home, 3260 Concord Road, Aston, PA 19014.

Interment will be private. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to Providence Animal Center 555 Sandy Bank Rd. Media, Pa. 19063 or @ providenceac.org

Molly, Rocky Jr and family, Justin, my brother Chip and Dolly and family, cousins Linda, Marjorie, Barbara, so very saddened to hear of Rocky's passing. I don't remember much after Rocky and Molly were married since I moved away but I do cherish growing up on the Ridge with my cousins when we were young. I remember Rocky being a prankster and always trying to scare Aunt Betty. He and my brother Ron were good friends then. I remember his love for cars and drag racing down the Ridge, exciting times! I was always proud to call him cousin! Your sweet spirit is definitely missed! Love you, cousin Mel.

I recall a fantastic conversation with Robert at one of Charlie’s first Birthday parties. So much enthusiasm and love for his family.

So sorry to hear that Rocky passed away. We grew up together in Trainer and were class mates in school. Rocky was such a nice person and well respected by everyone. I offer my sincere condolences to Molly and the entire Coale family. Rest in peace my friend and God bless you and your entire family.

Sooo sorry to hear this, I worked with Rocky for many years at Wawa. He was a great friend. Would do anything for you without a hesitation. Will be missed by all who knew him. Rip old friend

He was my Father's best friend. He visits were always filled with stories and laughter. He was a great man. May God comfort his family, friends as they remember and miss him.

Worked with Rocky 26yrs Wawa, good friend great times we had. Conversations of cars,boxing,roofing,ball chain anchor,M&M etc. Will be missed.......
