Michele and I rekindled a closer cousin relationship in the last few years. We visited on several occasions and spoke on the phone. I enjoyed getting to know her better. I found her to be insightful and thoughtful as we conversed. She often spoke of her love for her children and grandchildren and of her abiding faith in Jesus. On our last visit, we looked through several famous ‘’Arleen’’ albums, commenting on those joyful younger years . She gifted me with several photos. Arleen and Lee were an important part of my young adult years, welcoming into their home on Saturdays while I studied in Philadelphia (Michele was already married and she later hosted my engagement party). Arleen and Lee were also very present to my parents and sisters each time we returned from France. I grieve with you LeighAnn and Michael.

We are praying for you and your family as your hearts and minds adjust to your Mom’s passing… yet thanking God - she passed right into glory. She is with your grandparents and most importantly - her Lord. God bless you all.

Dear Michael and Leigh Anne: I am sorry to hear about your mom. The last time I saw her was at Walgreens about 4 years ago and we were reminiscing. I know you all are sad but it gets a little easier. I promise. She's smiling down. She's at peace.
