Salvatore D. "Bob" Fanelli, 83, of Concord, former owner of Eagle Tailors in Philadelphia and veteran of WWII, died on April 14, 2006, at Brinton Manor Nursing Home.
Born in Philadelphiam Mr. Fanelli resided in Ambler before moving to Brinton Manor. He graduated from South Phila. High School and was the former owner/operator of Eagle Tailors, 60th and Media Sts., Phila.
Mr. Fanelli served in the Navy furing WWII. He was a gunner aboard the destroyer escort, USS WItter.
Mr. Fanelli was known for his gentle disposition, love of children and an ever-present smile. He enjoyed singing at parties.
He was the son of the late Costantino Ranelli and Maria Testa Fanelli.
