Sandra “Sandie” Diane Stewart (nee McLaughlin) age 83, of Quarryville, formerly of Glen Mills, passed away on August 19, 2025.

Born on April 27th, 1942, Sandie was a generous woman and a creative writer, faithful to remember and honor friends and family with homemade banners and pictures. It was her joy to be “Mom Mom” to her grandchildren. She always was ready to share a hot latte with visiting friends.

Predeceased in death by her parents John & Marion McLaughlin, stepfather George Wilson McCoy, stepmother Gertrude McLaughlin, sister of the late David “Dave” McLaughlin, Kevin McCoy, and Judy West-Mueller.

Wife of 50 years to the late James Stewart, Sr.,

She is survived by her children James W, Jr, (wife Gail) Stewart, Michael (wife Deb) Stewart, Wendy Jo (wife of the late Scott) Wilkerson as well as her 6 grandsons and 9 great grandchildren.

Relatives and friends are invited to join for a time of sharing and reflection with her family on Monday Aug. 25th 11 am at Edgewood Memorial Park 325 Baltimore Pike Glen Mills, Pa. 19342. Graveside service will be at 11:30am

Sandie was a very caring oercon. We wish to share our condolences with the family. We regret our schedule on Monday will prevent us from attending. We will prayer for the family in the grief of their loss. The family’s loss is hurtful but Sandie has gained Heaven with her Savior and Jim. We look forward to seeing them again. My wife and I had many great times together with Sandie and Jim and look forward to eternity with our friends who are in God’s family and will be there.
