Sarah Reneé “Sarbear / Nae Nae / Bubba” Gonzalez took her last earthly breath and gained her angels wings in her loving mother’s arms peacefully at home surrounded by her loved ones on June 19th, 2019 in Norwood PA at the age of 8 after a long and courageous battle with brain cancer. Sarah is survived by her parents, Mark and Peggy Gonzalez of Norwood PA; her sisters, Desireé Dixon and Emma Gonzalez. Her maternal grandmother Joan Naylis, maternal grandparents Charles and Margaret Naylis, paternal grandfather Mark L Gonzalez, Sr. (Deb) and paternal grandmother SueAnn Calhoun (George). Paternal aunts, Kristy Stafford (James) and Sabrina Gonzalez. Maternal aunts Christina Naylis (Jay) and Ashley Faison. Maternal uncles Kevin Naylis (Erica), Joseph Naylis (Michele), Paul Naylis (Beth) and Tyler Faison. Uncle Nicholas Biondy (Jen). Cousins Jae’Shaun, Eric, Austin, Miranda, Zach, Riley, CJ, Caitlin, Allie, Jason and Kelsi. Special friends Sophia Biondy, Ashley, Thomas, Jake, Daisy, Avery, Sawyer and Melina. Neighbors Fred and Jean Heatherby. She is preceded in death by both her maternal and paternal great-grandparents.Sarah was born on September 11, 2010 in Upland PA to Mark and Peggy Gonzalez. Sarah was diagnosed November 21, 2015 with a brain tumor. She battled for a year followed by a year of remission. She relapsed on October 9th, 2017 and courageously fought for 20 months after only being given weeks to months to live.Relatives and friends are invited to her funeral Wednesday June 26, 2019 after 9:30 AM followed by her Celebration of Life at 12 noon at D’Anjolell-Barone Funeral Home,, 908 South Providence Road, Wallingford PA. All are welcome to attend and celebrate Sarah’s life.
