Sherman L. Watkins, 68 of Aston, PA died on Sept. 6, 2013. Sherman was an auto mechanic with Piazza Philadelphia Honda until his retirement in 2008. He was also proud of his dogs, Jake and Cleo. He was an avid skier, hiker, enjoyed home improvements projects, roller blading, gardening, photography and his home in the Poconos. He traveled around the world to exotic and unusual destinations. Son of the late Sherman and Jane Watkins. Devoted husband of Marietta (nee Kowalski); also survived by his sister, Blodwen (Gordon) Steighner; his nephew, Bill (Ronisue) Ventura; his sister-in-law, Janice Rawe and her dog, Bella; his brother-in-law Ed (Joyce) Kowalski; his niece, Pamela and nephew, Walter; his great-nieces and nephews and his great-great- nieces and nephew. Visitation on Wednesday, 6 to 8 PM at the D’Anjolell-Stigale Memorial Home 3260 Concord, Rd., Aston, PA 19014. Funeral Service/Interment to be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, Donations in Sherm’s name may be made to the National Parkinson’s Foundation, Gift Processing Center, P.O. Box 5018, Hagerstown, MD 21741-5018, Tree-Tops Animal Rescue, P.O. Box 584, Landenberg, PA 19350, or Crozer Keystone Hospice, 5030 State Road, Suite 3001, Drexel Hill, PA 19026.
