Sister Joan Donahue, a Sister of Mercy ,age 93 died on Saturday November 16 at McAuley Convent. She is pre-deceased by her parents George 1. and Sophie (Dupper) and her Loving siblings.
In addition to her religious community, Sister Joan Donahue is also survived by nieces and nephews.
A viewing will be held on Tuesday, December 3 at 9am. The funeral liturgy will follow at 10am in the Convent of Mercy Chapel at 515 Montgomery Avenue, Merion, Pa. 19066. Burial will follow in the Community cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations in Sister’s name would be appreciated. Please send donations to the Sisters of Mercy of the Americas at the above address.
